Can you believe it? 2 posts within 2 weeks! I amaze even myself! Oh, and the last post where I typed "my brother's wide" wasn't a subtle hint at her weight, it was an innocent typo. Actually, my brother recently made the "romantic" comment about her, "You barely weigh more then a bag of concrete." That will be my new work out goal- to reduce to my weight to that of bag of concrete.
Last weekend, Brad and I cruised down to Klamath Falls to spend some time with his family. On Saturday, we rafted the Rogue River near Medford and, holy cow, we had fun. It was around 100 degrees outside which made the freezing water actually bearable! I got an early birthday present from Brad's side of the family- an AMAZING fishing pole! We did catch and release all the way down the Rogue (average fish size was about 4 inches, but still lots of fun) using lures and I got to try out m new pole. Next post I will add of picture of it and me.
Unbelievably, Brad and I took zero pictures of the trip! However, I did want to add a few pictures of my cute sister-in-law Jessi and her boyfriend Richard of a few months. They were coming home from BYU-Idaho- that was one of the major reasons we went down for the weekend. This first picture shows the beauty of Klamath Falls from Brad's parents' property.
Such a good lookin' couple! Anyone see the resemblance between Jessi and Brad?My in-laws from left to right: Travis (16 year-old bro-in-law), Lynn (father-in-law), Anne (moth-in-law), Jessi and Richard.
After the rafting trip, we saw the play Music Man put on by K Falls locals. They did great! It was a quick yet mega fun weekend.
A few weeks ago, Brad officially began his 2nd year of dental school and got his 'white coat'. I'm not sure why they give dental students their coats so early (he has only worked on a handful of patients) but the ceremony was very enjoyable. Brads class of 74 has 16 LDS students- crazy, eh? Many of them are married and we wives have a great time getting together for book club, girls nights, and, in this case, wearing our husbands white coats. We got a pic of a handful of the LDS dental students in their newly received coats.
Brad receiving his coat. The guy who announced his name and shook Brad's hand here is in the bishopric of our ward.My folks came down to see the ceremony and enjoy the weekend with us. I'm glad this pic doesn't show the sweat trickling down our faces- it was pretty close to melting point.
I love this one of Brad. I'm going to enter it into the Mr. OHSU competition next fall. :)
Once a year, Portland imports 450 tons of sand to downtown and has a sand castle competition that I mentioned in my last post. Here are a few of my favorites.
Hungry, Hungry Hippos (this entry was called Family Game Night)So cute- big doggie bath. The quote written in the sand next to this one said, "Anyone who doesn't know what soap tastes like has never washed a dog".
Have you seen Disney's "Up"? Super cute movie. Brad and I saw with my marmey in 3D which was fun. Here is the Up on on Paradise Falls. You can see Kevin's relief at the bottom of this castle.
Here's a camping pic. Brad and I have really become addicted to camping. Ty and Alan have lent us their amazing North Face tent that has kept us dry even in a downpour- we really appreciate that! Pops Mortenson lent us that gas stove you see there- makes camping even better!
Lastly, for my family members, since Brad and I don't have chillens of our own yet, we out up cute pix of our nephews and neices up in or house. Here they are.Have a fab week!

You guys need to come out to Utah to go camping with us! We just might have room in our 8 Man Tent for you. So far the only times we have been able to use it have been on our ward camp out and in the middle of our court yard at the U (one of our first blog posts has pictres of that)

Hey Molly,
I'm so glad I got to see you guys while you were here. I'm loving all the blog posts. Do you thnk you'll be down again before Brad starts school up again?
Hopefully we'll make it up to Portland again before it snows, so we'll definitely have to get together.
I would love to re-do your blog again! I am pretty backed up right now, but if you wanted to go pick out a pre-made layout I could get it to you in a day or two.
Hey Kids, It looks like things are going well for you. The pictures are great, keep them coming. Have Fun,
Man, slow down with your blogging. I can't keep up with all the entries you pump out. Maybe cut it back to 3 a year instead of 4.
