Down in Springville are several ponds with lots of ducks. One of Brad's friends showed it to him last year. Brad was ecstatic because the ducks came so close to him that he was able to catch two or three of them--don't worry, he let them go after petting them and encouraging them to be good little quackers.
Despite her smile, Molly was hesitant to believe Brad that the goose wasn't going to attack her like the feathered fowls she had seen on an Alfred Hitchcock movie.
