Back on Board!

Hello friends and family! It has been far too long since we last blogged! I have so much fun reading other people's blogs that I feel bad for not catching people up on whats happening in our lives! My wonderful cousin-in-law Julie took the time to set this good-lookin' blog up for us as a wedding present and its my early new years resolution to keep up on it, dang it!

Brad and I are in Portland, Oregon and loving it! He is attending the OHSU dental school and I am finishing my degree student teaching high school chemistry. We both really love what we do. Once I graduate officially next week (yay!) I will teach high school algebra and actually get paid. Hard to imagine.

Here are a few pics of our recent blizzrad in the land of Port:

I have grown up on the west side of the Cascade mountains my whole life and NEVER has school been canceled for more than 2 days in a row: tomorrow the Beaverton school district (where I teach) is going on day 5 of straight cancellation! Crazy, eh? Its been fun for me to start my Christmas break early this year!
Me in front of our house:
Christmas this year will be spent at the Oregon coast with Brad's side of the family. We will have a great time and hope not to gain more than a few pounds. Happy Christmas!

Hey I went to one of the king county libraries and it reminded me how sad I was that you have now been incorporated. I hope you had a great christmas and got some pig feet in you stocking!

I just watched the wedding video and it made me cry. My goodness! Those are some of the most precious memories to a mother! Julie does such a great job!
I'm glad to see your pictures and look forward to more!
It was such fun having the two of you here after Christmas. I loved sewing together. Molly, you are a ray of sunshine, and I missed you when you left. I'm glad to have you for a daughter-in-law. Brad has such a kind heart. I love him for that. You two are great!
hugs and kisses,
mom
